Privacy Policy

1. The short version

We collect only what NEXA needs to teach you: your account details and your study activity. We never sell your data, we show no ads, and raw tutoring transcripts are automatically deleted after 30 days. Never enter patient information into NEXA — it is a study tool, and this policy covers student data only.

2. What we collect

• Account: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and language preference.
• Enrollment:if you are an NXT Level Learning student, your course enrollment status is synced read-only from the school’s student portal to activate your access.
• Study activity: quiz and exam attempts, scores, skills progress, badges, streaks, and study time.
• Tutoring conversations:your text and voice sessions with the AI tutor. Raw transcripts are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted; short learning summaries (for example, “struggled with infection control”) are kept so NEXA remembers where you left off.
• Payments: handled entirely by Square. We never see or store your card number — we receive only confirmation that a purchase was made and the email used at checkout.

3. How your data is used

To run the platform: activating access, generating tutor responses, tracking your progress, and recommending what to study next. Instructors at NXT Level Learning can see their students’ progress to support their teaching. That’s it — no selling, no advertising, no unrelated marketing lists.

4. Service providers we rely on

• Supabase — secure database and authentication hosting.
• OpenAI— processes tutoring conversations to generate the AI’s responses. Conversations are sent under our business account; we do not permit their use to train public models.
• Square — payment processing.
• YouTube — skills videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (no tracking cookies until you press play).

5. Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and tutoring transcripts auto-purge after 30 days. Account and progress data are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed; we may retain purchase records as required for accounting.

6. Your rights

You can view most of your data directly in the app (Settings, Progress, and Memory). To request a copy, a correction, or deletion of your account and data, email info@nxtlevellearning.com from your account email — we respond within 30 days.

7. Children

NEXA is intended for adult learners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
